The Rosehill Gardens Racecourse is located in the Western Sydney suburb of Rosehill, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Rosehill holds horse races for thoroughbred gallopers on a grass surface. It is one of the two premier racecourses in Sydney, the other one being Randwick Racecourse.

The BMW Sydney Carnival is Sydney’s premier racing carnival and a world-class event held over six weeks in Autumn. Boasting the finest thoroughbred racing with over $20 million in prize money and a staggering 49 Group races. Rosehill stages the first three carnival days - Cellarbrations Ladies Day, Rosehill Guineas Day and Tooheys New Golden Slipper Day.

The Sydney Carnival will kick off in style with Ladies Day. The racing program features three Group 1 races including the Group 1 $600,000 Coolmore Classic for fillies and mares & the $400,000 Ranvet Stakes.

Rosehill Guineas Day will feature two Group 1 races, The Galaxy with $350,000 in prizemoney and the $500,000 Rosehill Guineas, where the best three-year-olds in the country compete for line honours.  This day is also the last chance for two-year-olds to qualify for the Tooheys New Golden Slipper.

The Tooheys New Golden Slipper Day is headlined by the world's richest race for two-year-olds, the $3.5 million Group 1 Tooheys New Golden Slipper, the first leg of the coveted “Triple Crown”.
