Geelong stood tall in 2011 but who will be the challengers in the 2012 AFL season!! With a raft of changes to the teams playing rosters, 2012 is shaping up to be the best footy season ever.

After a great AFL Season Opening Lunch, we have started the season off on the right foot!! Round 1 saw the interstate teams well placed and also welcome to AFL for Greater Western Sydney! The next few rounds will see teams sorting themselves out as we settle in to season 2012.

We are well into the season and it has certainly delivered!! Close contests, wide margins and some great marks and goals has kept us glued to our seats and see's a number of teams fighting for the top eight with West Coast doing the best at present. The next few rounds will sort them out with some great clashes coming up.

Towards the end of June see's Collingwood sitting on top of the ladder with a number of teams clustered just below. Carlton sits just out of the top eight on percentages behind St. Kilda so the next few weeks fixtures are going to be critical in shaping the leading teams position. Those in the top eight can't afford to lose their position and the lower placed teams - the time is now to stand up or they will miss out at the pointy end of the season.

Well, the Swans have certainly been the "BP's" on the premiership after quietly slipping to the top of the ladder - no fanfare, low media and its seems that sits just fine with the coach and management and they prepare for the top of the table clash in Perth this weekend. Its great timing for the Sydney based Swans as they work towards securing the better deal out of the final series.

What a great season so far!! Plenty of great footie action and heading to the pointy end of the comp, there are still a number of teams fighting to play in the finals.

Well the finals are here and a great round of footie to kick it off!! Hawthorn and West Coast put on dominate displays whilst Sydney and Fremantle were in the winners circle as well. Some more great match ups this weekend and for some its bye bye for 2012. Lets hope your team is still in the game after this weekend!!

Game on - Swans v Hawks!! The battle of the birds is set to be a classic grand final with the Swans playing great footie all year and have been near the top of the table consistently. A dominant performance over the "pies" will see the Swans as favouitites on the weekend whilsts the Hawks made it into the big one with a last gasp goal. Whoever wins, we love the grand final at "The G"!!!

The Legends Club has only a few prime spots left in a corporate suite, so if you want to experience the grand final in style, you had better be quick and ring the LEGENDS number.

If you didn't snap up one of those remaining spots with the Legends Club you would be kicking yourself. What a great grand final and congratulations to both the Swans and the Hawks for a really entertaining game of footy. It could have gone either way but if you look at the performances all year, The Swans were deservered winners - unless you are a Hawks fan then you were obviously robbed!!! No seriously a great end to a great season and all The Legends Club can say, is bring on Season 2013!!!
